xSNAP integration in 3Shape

After the successful xSNAP integration into the exocad software, there is now also good news for fans of the 3Shape Dental System: With the latest 3Shape Model Builder software update (3Shape Lab DS2022), the 3D joint system from xSNAP is now also available. Users are given the opportunity to test a pre-installed version. If they are convinced by its functions, they can purchase a license for the full version and get started right away after it has been activated.

xSNAP is a 3D articulation system with a ball head that has been successfully used in the production of acrylic models since the beginning of 2021. It not only enables easy opening and closing of the models, but also protrusion and laterotrusion of the mandible. In many cases, this saves users the conventional articulating of the models without having to forego a realistic simulation of the mandibular movements.

Purchase a license directly in our Online-Shop (dongle number required). Or click on the "Web-Shop Button" in the 3Shape software, which leads you directly to our online store. Your dongle number will be transferred automatically. The activation takes place within 1 - 2 days after the purchase of the module in our store.

With the xSNAP test version within the 3Shape Model Builder software, it is possible to provide models constructed on the basis of intraoral scanner data with xSNAP joints. However, the data can only be saved after activation of the xSNAP module in the Control Center with a purchased license key. This activation not only provides access to the xSNAP standard version, but also to enhancements and optimizations provided by 3Shape as part of regular software updates.
